PES University, located in Bangalore, India is one of the country’s leading teaching and research universities. The engineering faculty of the university is still known as the PES Institute of Technology. In terms of academic facilities, the university provides the state of the art infrastructure with well-equipped labs & workshops, central library, computer centre and spacious classrooms. The campus provides the parking space, recreational and sports space, students’ airspace, garden and boys hostel. The campus has a well-spaced auditorium, conference hall and seminar hall. The campus sprawls over 25 acres of land to the west of the city Bangalore. The campus has six major blocks in alphabetically order as A, B, C, D, E and F Block. Initially, the campus has started in a rented gymnasium in Bangalore. The campus is located on the 100 feet ring road At Banashankari in the urban area of Bangalore City. All engineering courses are approved by the AICTE. The university is imparting the education in engineering, Management and Life Science and Medical fields.
In the year 2013 it has been granted as the Private University by the UGC and renamed as the present “PES University”. PES University was established in 1988 as a private and self-financing institution with name as PES Institute of Technology by the Public Education Society (PES).
